The School has a well stocked library to cater the needs of students as well as its staff members. It has more than titles, which caters to children and its members of the teaching and non-teaching faculties. The reading material covers a range of subjects as diverse as Religion, Cookery, Fiction etc. The library subscribes periodicals and leading dailies, The teachers use reference materials to enrich their classroom activities and teaching.
In addition to above, the library follows the open access system in which the students can access the books they want to refer directly from the shelves. Every year about books are added to the collection. It also has a computerized database from which one can truce any book with the help of library staff/ librarian.
The school science laboratories are places where our children gain hands on experience. Separate Physics, Chemistry, Bio laboratories offer an experience conducive to learning for the secondary students.
The laboratories are well equipped and provide for not only the prescribed syllabus, but much beyond. Learning by doing is the mantra which forms the underlying theme on which these laboratories function. Students are taught various scientific concepts through demonstrations as well as by doing experiments themselves.
In the age of IT, Computer have become a necessity. To cater this need the school has a fully equipped, well furnished and user friendly computer lab. Well equipped computer lab is the nerve centre of computer education in the school to keep pace with the fast changing IT Scenario.
A large number of systems enable children to practically do the programming individually which clears their concept and they become confident in practical applications.
Computer desk are kept at an appropriate height and adequate space for the equipment (Keyboard, Mouse and Desktop) and access by the teachers.

Keeping in view the needs of the future and the evident necessity of computer knowledge, the school lays stress on computer as a compulsory part of the curriculum from class III onwards. A fully equipped computer lab with hi-tech systems are maintained by the school in the interest of the students.
Our school has beautifully planned Art Rooms that inspires children to unleash their creativity and imagination. We have different Art Rooms for different departments keeping in view the different age groups. Art Rooms are equipped with different facilities. All students learn the basics of sketching. Lessons in still life, landscape, portrait are taught.
Techniques with pencil, markers, charcoal, pastels, and acrylic and water colours are demonstrated. Personal creativity is stressed. Art and painting activity provide children with an outlet for self expression. With the guidance provided by skilled art instructors. Students gain self confidence as they explore and develop their artistic ability. At the Art Room every student SHINES. We provide a positive and nurturing learning experience that encourages our students to use their imagination.
The school has an Audio Visual Room equipped with multimedia computer and LCD projector. This audio visual room caters for interactive teaching through computers. To support Audio visual activities, a large number of Audio /Video cassettes related to all subjects are available.
The seating capacity of the hall is around 250. Subject teachers prepare their lesson plans and lectures to be delivered to students using are the latest software available. These lectures are then projected in the Audio Visual Rooms.
We have a well equipped and air conditioned medical room with a trained nurse.
This centre has 2 beds and is well equipped with Nebulizer, BP instrument and other emergency medicines. A complete medical checkup is conducted annually for the students.
Music is a gift of God to mankind because it touches and refreshes every aspect in human life ie, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. No greater way then expressing our feelings and thought in song. Many used it in their own ways. Shivalik Radiance music department is blessed with gifted teachers. There is plenty of opportunity for students to learn vocal singing and play various instruments. Students according to their interest are given classes.
The music department has Indian Classical and Western Music. In Indian Classical Music they are trained in “Raagas” and also to play instruments such as (Harmonium, Tanpura). In Western Music students are trained in western way of singing and also they are trained to play instrument such as (Guitar, Keyboard, Congo, and Manual Drums). It is our earn desire to see our students come up to the level of stage performance, become part of school musical band and participate in various competitions and be a credit to our school and society.
For a holistic development of the children, we have innovative, fun and curriculum linked play environment for them.
The school play area is well designed and well equipped with a splash pool, see-saw, merry-go round, swing set slides, a bigger play station which help to develop their physical co-ordination, strength and flexibility as well as providing recreation and enjoyment. Appropriate measures are taken to ensure the safety of the little ones.
It is well known that only a sound body can boast of a sound mind. To fulfill this, sports should be included in school curriculum. It is a fact that physical and exercises help to inculcate discipline. Every game or sport has its own set of rules. One has to follow them scrupulously.
Further, sports and games give the younger’s an opportunity to lead as well as be lead. Thus, sports help to bring out and nurture the qualities of leadership. The sports facilities include a basketball court, lawn tennis court, football field, table tennis etc. regular exercises, drill, training in march past and aerobics is an important feature in their time table.
